I know its kinda late, but I just realized today that at the very end of my application I marked the box that said I was an international student not applying for aid. However, I did mention earlier that i was going to be applying for aid and that I am a US citizen. So now I’m kinda confused about what I should do
contact them by phone asap. it is important to get it corrected
I second that. CAll them on Monday or if closed, Tuesday.I’d also send an email today to the school letting them know.
Ah well I figured. Any tips for what to say? Besides the obvious I marked the wrong box (I mean they’ll already think I’m foolish for that) so is there anything I could do to lessen that I guess?
No, don’t worry - this wont cause an issue. you will be speaking with the financial aid people - ask for them, not the admissions officers. the FA people don’t decide if you get in. they only decide what someone who is admitted gets in aid.
