Do you apply to the school like normal, then choose to do prepharm or Bio/Chem and then later on apply to that school's pharmacy school? If you took the prepharm program at a school would that make it much easier to get into the pharmacy program there?

Is it likely that an average prepharm student will never get into any pharmacy school?

I would rather not waste 2 years of my life =/

Also, how hard are the few remaining 0-6 programs to get into?

I'm also looking into that major. You will apply to school as normal and your major will be pre-pharmacy. You will do two years of study and then apply to pharmacy school. Getting in is very competitive. I recommend touring the school your looking into and talking to a represenative in your major to find out how competitive it is. I believe that it would be easier to get into a school that you did the rest of your studies at, however, if you don't do well, they'd probably choose someone else with better scores.
