Could someone please give me a brief explanation of what the ACT is?

<p>I know I may come off as "ignorant", but I don't know what the test is about?</p>

<p>How many sections are there? And what type of questions are these? Is the test similar to the SAT or is it more fact based?</p>

<p>Could someone provide like example questions or link to where I could find examples about what it's like? </p>
