Could someone visit North Carolina @ chapel Hill and Duke university in one day?

Is it possible for a prospective student to have an admission tour of North Carolina @ chapel Hill and Duke university in one day? Or are these two universities are located too far apart to do so in a single day.

Trying to make a plan for summer visit to these universities. Thanks

Yes, it is very possible. The two campuses are only about 15-20 minutes apart by car.

@ncnrs2be That helps a lot. Thanks

It’s so easy to do both! Just pray the day you pick has good weather so you want to do two in one day!

Yes, and you will likely see other visitors doing tours at both schools on the same day.

Is there a nearby hotel to stay?

@nynycasino1234 There is actually a hotel on Dukes campus. My best friend stayed there and had great things to say!

Siena hotel in Chapel hill is wonderful, close to both universities and its onsite restaurant is marvelous.

Yes, it is extremely doable. We visited Chapel Hill first. Stayed there for 2 nights, The hotel was in the heart of Chapel Hill, called Franklin Hotel , I think. We didn’t have a car but all the dining places were walkable. We took uber to Duke and stayed there one night at JBDuke which was right on the campus. Have fun.

Yes it’s very doable. The campuses are only about 15 minutes apart and there are a lot of hotels in the area.

Why would anyone want to visit Duke?

@davethedeferred so my 4 ft daughter can play on Duke baskebatll team and beat the opponent in case UNC does not take her first to play men’s basketball team. just kidding.

She is so into the basketball game that she is applying to Villanova and Michigan also. LOL
