Could you please chance me on a few schools?

Ok, first I want to mention that I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but my dad is a tenured professor at Auburn. If that helps to get in let me know.

Ok, I'm ending my junior year in high school and pretty much have my stuff all figured out.

GPA:3.3(3.4 weighted)

ACT: 27

Extra curriculars: Member of psychology club sophomore-senior year. Science Olympiad medalist freshman year. Recreational soccer(can I include this). I did more in middle school if I can list those. It was before I started to work more.

Work: Sold programs at Auburn University football home games every year since 6th grade, refereed soccer games during sophomore year. Worked at Chick Fil A since the Summer after Sophomore year.

Other info: I've lived in Auburn since I was 5 and go to high school here. Not sure if that helps...

Schools: Auburn is the main one, since my dad works there I'll get half off tuition if excepted and I love the town. I feel like I'm already a part of "the auburn family". They even sort of employed me with the program thing! Anyway, yeah it's my top choice. Also, unless I get fired in the mean time, I can keep my job while at school.

UAB( I like the campus and it's probably the second best school in Alabama along side UOA( I refuse to go there)

Troy

UGA

Rutgers(I have a lot of family in NJ)

Scranton(where my dad went and again, close to family)

And the schools I know I probably can't get in to, but I just like the area a lot: Tulane, Rice, and Penn

Anyway, let me know what you think(especially about Auburn :)

Thanks

Btw I’m planning on taking my ACT once more as I’ve studied a bit more. Also, I want to major in Economics.

Bump

I’d emphasize the football game attendance/program sales, and explain how working at Chik-Fil-A has made you a better person. Don’t know that I’d make a big deal about being a hometown girl because it could sound like you want to go there for convenience’s sake, not so much because it’s the school of your dreams.
The difference between weighted and unweighted grades could be greater. Have you taken many honors classes? That’s something they’ll be looking at. Also, have you done any science-related stuff since freshman year? It would help to add that. And yes, I’d add rec soccer, particularly in combination with refereeing if you can show a “look, I took some initiative and was a leader” aspect.
All in all…I don’t know Auburn. I don’t know how much your dad’s employment will help, but it certainly can’t hinder. Overall though, I would definitely apply to a sure thing as well.

By the way…be patient. Wait for people at least to wake up before feeling the need to bump!

I think that you have a very high chance of getting into Auburn and UAB, seeing how you’re in-state, but improving your GPA would only benefit you. Doing better on the ACT will definitely help with scholarship opportunities, but I think you’d be a great fit for either campus. Troy should be a safety for you, and UGA can be weird for out of state sometimes, but I think you definitely have a chance! I don’t know much about the others, but good luck and War Eagle!
Chance me back please:

Rice and Penn are not happening with that ACT score. Good luck with Auburn though!

Thanks! I will definitely talk about the football stuff.
