Why did you submit ACT? It sucks against your SAT. And your SAT M2 score is also very low for engineering, and ECs all depend on passion. All the rest look great! Goodluck But why are you chancing yourself NOW? o.O

welll… i just wanna know… =P
oh and i havent sent my ACT scores
and Math yeah i know… i panicked during the exam ='(… i din get 3 q.s in a row… which i got later on… but i messed up in the middle coz of the attack…

but im not too worried coz my math hl transcript is good and im math EE so…

Where are you from Logan? Your IB Predicted scores are pretty brilliant (if that’s what they are and if your school doesn’t inflate predicted grades like a lot of schools do). I’d say you have really good shot at CMU/UCLA/UMichigan and you can pretty much count on acceptances from UT-Austin, UIUC,UC Irvine and Virginia Tech.

Harvard is Harvard, Columbia loves being selective so there’s no saying ever and Cornell/UC Berkeley have arguably some of the best Engineering programmes in the world after MIT/Caltech/Imperial so that list rounds up places that aren’t as likely as the rest.

thanks paradox!
no… i don’t think they’ve inflated it… =P im like this constant question-asker and all… which fits into this IB profile so yeah! =)

yeah I know… i consider my top 6 - the 3 ivies, CMU UCB and Imperial as impossible to get into anyway… and ill definitely go to whichever i get into of these 6… so i guess im mentally prepared -_-

and even if i dont get in… theres always post grad! =D

Haha that’s good logan. IB is probably the hardest but the most amazing high school preparatory programme in many ways (I both loved and hated it while I was in it; I’m sure you share my sentiments). Where in India are you from? With your predicted grades, I’m sure you’ll get a conditional offer from Imperial. Getting the final grades is upto you. =P

Also, don’t worry about your Math IIC score. It’ll be seen as an anomaly, placing everything else in context. A Math HL score of 7, plus a solid Math EE (maybe you could mention it somewhere or have your Math teacher/EE advisor write a recommendation?).

I was just confused as to what you meant because of your shocked response. Yeah I know, I know about JNS. I was in Ecole, Batch of 2008 actually.
