Could you please interpret my results?

The first time I took the ACT was Freshman year and I earned a composite of 24. I am a Sophomore now, so the results I posted above are from February of Sophomore year. Am I on track to get a decent score my Junior year, and what score should I be aiming for? Thank you!

I took the ACT on February 9th 2013, and I found my results today through the glitch:

**COMPOSITE: 27**

ENGLISH: 30
Usage/Mechanics:17
Rhetorical Skills: 14
MATHEMATICS: 26
Pre-Algebra/Elem. Algebra: 15
Algebra/Coord. Geometry: 12
Plane Geometry/Trig.: 13
READING: 27
Social Studies/Sciences: 14
Arts/Literature: 14
SCIENCE: 26
WRITING: 08

Three points is a good improvement. I have no idea what you consider “a decent score”. It seems you should work more on the math and science (which is really logical thinking and graph reading).

I would definitely take it again. You can for sure raise your math score with some prep. Just work on the geometry.

What colleges are you aiming for?

That’s pretty good. Make sure you retake it; you may be able to get over a 30. The math isn’t very complicated; you just have to keep your head clear. Science is pretty much Reading but with graphs.
