So me and my hs counselor have started to fill in her information on commonapp. I have to translate everything for her, because she doesn't know english at all.
Basically, here are the parts on her application we don't understand:

In SCHOOL REPORT section, after you enter the gpa, it says START DATE and FINAL DATE. Now the start date is the date I started my freshman year. But what about the final date? Is it the date that I'm graduating? Or because we entered my gpa from freshman, soph and junior year it's supposed to be the date that I finished my junior year?

In the same section, it says Highest grade/Gpa in class. Now is it the highest gpa out of all the seniors that are graduating or is it the highest gpa that i've had?

Is the written evaluation the same as counselor recommendation?

In FEE WAIVER section, we selected the "Other request from high school principal, high school counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader." option. Now, where is my counselor supposed to submit the request? Do we send it separately to each college or is there a place on the common app?

The purpose of the start and final dates are to show the period over which your reported GPA is calculated. Final date should be the end of the last grading period included in your reported GPA (end of junior year in your case). It is not your expected graduation date.

Highest GPA in class is the actual highest GPA currently held by someone in your same graduating class - it is not your individual highest GPA unless you happen to be the current val.

The written evaluation is the same as the counselor evaluation.
