Hi,
I'd just like to make sure that if we see that the School Report has been submitted, that also means that my transcript has been submitted to the Common App. I never specifically asked my counselor to submit my transcript, and I wanted to make sure there was no way for them to leave the transcripts part blank if they filled out the School Report...

The transcript upload is a required element of the School Report, so counselors cannot submit the form online without having uploaded a file first.

Tiger, what AppWhisperer said is true if your school uploads transcripts, however, many schools still send in good old fashioned hardcopy. As you submit applications, most colleges will send you a special userid to track your application materials. You will see from that when they have logged your SATs, counselor report, mid-year report, transcripts, teacher’s recommendations, etc.

At my S’s school, the counselors have a good system to send in these materials throughout the year, as long as each student has filled out some forms ahead of time, usually in the fall several weeks before the first application is due. If you’re unsure how this works at your school, just go to your guidance counselor’s office and talk to him/her. Just stop by and ask them if they need anything else from you for the applications that you sent in for College1, College2, Collegee.
