<p>Something of note that I found. FSU lists in that brochure a Cost of Attendance of $17,604 but on their site lists it at $20,060. Interesting how they leave out some categories that they publish on their CoA page. </p>
<p>I understand them not adding in the “Transportation” or “Personal” categories that they list on the CoA page, but it stood out to me.</p>
<p>It’s a very good document though that anyone coming into FSU should read though!</p>

<p>I’m not sure that I would read too much into the fact that your HS was in the top 3. It looks like the top feeder high schools maybe simply be located in more affluent areas (where most kids are college-bound).</p>

<p>Universities certainly have feeder schools that have proven over time the ability to supply them with successful admits though. Of course, students from those schools still need to be competitive against their peers. Attending a valued feeder school means nothing without good performance.</p>
<p>Honestly, really all that suggests to me is that your high school has a lot of quality students apply to, get accepted by, and attend FSU. </p>
<p>What surprised me the most was that New Jersey was the second most popular state for out of state students to come from. That’s really shocking.</p>
<p>The only feeder notion of any school is the bias towards this university or that; commonly based on where the particular educator went to school.</p>
