Countdown and Results Thread for December 2008 ACT

Oh I know I was so made about that. I registered anyway because I knew I would need to.

Mine says registered and I was not a standby and I did not register late.
so idk.

Ooh, I just realized...would mine still say "registered"/come out later if I had to switch test dates? I switched from the Oct to the Dec--super early and everything but still?

Mine still says registered and I didn't sign up late nor was I stand by. What does this mean?

You probably won't see your scores tomorrow Emp.

:( thanks zaboda, so when should I expect them do you think? and why the delay?

5am is generally the time? I've always just checked later when i got up, but I'll be doing an all nighter to finish my apps tonight (no not the essays, just all that form data) and I wanna know what time to check.

31 31 31 31 31 31 PLEASE BE 31 (or higher!) :D

Wait I thought unlike the SAT the ACT scores aren't guaranteed to come out the first day its "available" right? I mean it might very well come out next week or something...

^ well, i've taken the ACT twice before and both times they were available the first day. i'm hoping that they're available tomorrow. crosses fingers

I'm praying for a 30+

I am hoping for a 33+.

Heck, i'm just hoping mine are up there tomorrow lol.

Hopefully my scores will be available tomorrow.

The first time I took the test (2006) my results were not up the day they said they would be. The next two times they were. So who knows? I'm praying that I made AT LEAST a 30...

34 or + please...though I doubt I got it since Science totally raped me...and I probably won't receive my scores tommorow...meh

I'm scared about that science section ruining my scores.

Oh man... I totally agree with quicksandslowly and 11h30. If I didn't get a 30+ it will be because of science.

In the last 2-year time frame of my high school career, I conquered a language barrier and lots other difficult shenanigans. However, alas, the science section of the American College Test has, with its first victory in the June of 2007, once again, raped me both ways, leaving with me the bitter after taste that shall never be forgotten.
Wow now that I reread the whole thing its kinda gross, but you get the point

So who's waking up/staying up at 5 am tomorrow?

^do scores even come up that early?
