Countdown to Acceptance Letters

no, lol, afternoon

I wish it was in the moring..........

49 or 50 days! depending how you look at it. I am looking at the shorter wait.

49 days left

YAY PEOPLE. Let's continue to be disillusioned and plan for schools that we can't know we got into... <3

What will you all do if you get declined to every school. Personally, I will probably start crying. LOL, I wouldn't even give a crap if my parents my fun of me I would cry my head off LOL.

Where did you apply Saer?

I would be dismayed, probably cry for a day, then pick up the pieces and proceed to be valedictorian at my small public school. :)
I applied to Choate (top choice), Exeter, Andover, and NMH. You?

haha thats what i would do...cry for a little bit. Even so, I have a safety school, that I really like, so I think I will be happy, but let's not count our chickens before they hatch :)

48 DAYS

48 days.....that'll just fly by i'm sure ;)

Haha your funny. You should become a comedian. 'That'll just fly by'....funny :P

um....if one person says 49 days today, how do you get 48--on the same day

Well, some people are counting today, or March 10th, in the countdowns, and some aren't.

Saer, I applied to

Andover
Exeter
SPS
Hotchkiss
Middlesex
Groton
Governor's
Brooks

Middlesex is my #1 choice. I loved it!! I only scored an 86% on my SSAT. I was disappointed; however, because of my significant score variation in the individual categories between my two tests, I have a 90% of you extract highest score in each category.

Respectable EC's and Essays and Interviews. I have basically accepted that most of those schools are out of my reach. I think I have a decent chance of Middlesex though. I have sibling legacy at Govs and Brooks...

I cannot wait. I will be on here every day to count down!

haha join the club!

47 Days!

till... March 10th???
Wow that's fast!!!

Yeah oh my gosh I'm excited!
I did well on the SSATs- 99% Verbal, 98% Reading, 85% Math, 99% composite. My recs will certainly be grand, because the teachers know me in other contexts then just the classroom (volleyball coach, band director and my theatre director, then my english teacher). My essay was nice, I think, the best one about a personal topic that I love (track and field and my coach). I have respectable ECs (volleyball 6 seasons, 3 years and oboe for 5 years most notably) and am very active. I've spoken to the volleyball coaches at all my schools, and since they seemed impressed, I think it's a hook! <3

Wow- congrats on your scores!

Thanks! :) I was surprised- but I have had a year and a half more classes/experience then the majority of my peers taking the test, seeing as I'm applying for 10th not 9th.

you are not graded against people applying for 9th grade you are put in a pool with all the people applying for 10th grade
