Countdown to Acceptance Letters

whoaa, my school has 2000 kids... and we're only 3 grades... ^^

it's why i want to go to a small school.
(i still consider exeter small, after all, it's not like it's 30 kids per class like my school...)

I want a small school. I want less than 400. Groton and Middlesex OWN. Certainly no more than 600. I still applied to A/E though.

My high school is like... 2,000 people (9th-12th grade). Too many people for me.

I really like a student body of about 750-850 students. For me, a school with about 400-500 students is too small, but those with 1,000+ students are too big.
I love Choate's number of students :) although all boarding schools are amazing in their own way.

2,000 in four grades(High as 2,600 some years)

I need a big school... I now go to a small school and I can't stand how you can know every single person... really creepy sort of.

ANDOVER APPS TURNED IN. Now we play the waiting game... 38 days right?

haha my grade has less than 80 students, and my high school has less than 400 students for all four grades. I like small schools, you get to know everybody, but it can be annoying when I have known all the kid's in my grade since kindergarden: I know almost everybody's middle name. It is kind of insane, but I like being close to everyone.

My classmates all have preconceived notions of how I should be, who I am... I hate it. They've known me for 13+ years (and we're only 14.)

im saving large crowds of people for college life ;)

high school should be intimate, college should be crazy and getting out of your comfort zone, including your circle of friends.

My comfort zone is suffocating me!! Help!
Plus, I don't think BS will be "leaving" my comfort zone. I'm pretty comfortable in lots of different scenarios. I think it will be "expanding" my zone.

almost 36 DAYSSSSSS

WOO. I'm excited. Super Bowl is dumb, btw.

I know I say word/seconded/agreed alot but.... I totally agree

Okay, official rules for the what to bring thread of 2009: YOU CAN'T READ THE OLD ONE. that's cheating. Maaajor cheating. Where's the fun in that??

Darn. What if I already did?

D:

36 daysssssssssssssssssssss

No, it' more of a: Don't copy and paste from the old thread. Reading it is fine, unless you're cheating, haha.
I'm just bored and want an excuse to spend pages and pages of a thread obsessing over my packing list instead of reading someone else's.

My letters from the Day HS I applied to are supposed to come today. Hope I'll get in. But thirty six more days till March 10? Uggg. I wish I had a remote control where I could fast forward time. That'd be nice.

but wow it's like a little more than a month left!
time goes by fast...

so nervous!

I am rereading books, knitting, and hanging out with my friends so much more than I would have been if I wasn't applying.
Realizing that the decision that may change your life is coming in 36 days makes you think quicker, and be more active, than normal, at least for me.

Actually there is only 35 days left. If you do not count March 10th as a day and you do not count today as a day. I will probably **** myself on March 10th. I'll be at school with **** running down my leg. There is no way I will be able to learn on that day! I'll probably throw up on the school bus coming home!

Once I decide what school I will be attending, I am going to get decked out in apparel from the school store. I will never take it off

I know that Groton posts decisions online. Does anyone know if Middlesex does? If so, how would you access it?

I cannot belive that **** is a censored word. What the crap.
