Countdown to Acceptance Letters

30 DAYSSSSSSSS

PS haha I don't cut my hair often because my hair dresser gets angry with me because I straighten my hair alot :P

I am so excited for the descisions. I hate waiting.

The good thing for me is that I have a one week break in February, so it's like crossing off 9 days of waiting, since breaks go by quite quickly. (I'm going to NYC!!)

@Saer: the topic though is 'countdown to acceptance letters" so it wouldn't really make sense to count down till we leave. plus different schools probably start on different days. I think we should just restart the countdown.

That won't work because most likely, people applying for entry into boarding schools for next year probably won't come here to chat for another six months. And even if this thread lasts that long, the first thing that those new applicants will do is see that, from the front page, the thread is OLD. They'll move onto a newer thread.

Hmmm then we should encourage them to use this one :D

38 days guys :D A little over a month, and we all know how fast a month goes (ex: from december 15th all relaxed and fine to januray 15th scrambling to postmark our apps (well for some people) )

Wait, it's 30 days, right? :-)

Ya 30.....

30 dayss, almost 29...............

MONTH, omg.

28 days and 22 hours, on my Mac Widget Countdown!
<3 <3 <3
I've been told I'm an "official" athlete recruit? Like, the coach is supporting my application... I'm DYING with excitement, anticipation, anxiety, and just plain boredom.

That's like, amazing Saer. I'm really bad with anything that requires hand-eye coordination or just simply moving my legs or arms(but I do play soccer and softball and miraculously, I haven't gotten any injuries...YET).

I think we should make up a random topic once in a while to keep this thread alive. Who knows, maybe this thread will make it to the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS as the longest running thread or something. hahaha(: I'm sorry, I'm hyper today.

Friday the 13th is coming!!!OMG.I'm almost scared.hahaha:]

p.s.
Saer, you should dye your hair LIME GREEN instead, or HOT PINK. :)
I'm just happy with my long, black(or is it really dark brown?) hair. Im going to grow it longer so I can donate it to cancer patients(my grandma's a survivor). How long does it have to be? =] <3 =] <3 =]

HOT PINK? NO.
oh god.
i have nightmares of jeffree star and audrey kitching due to their extreme hair >___>
okay, well, only jeffree star. because he looks a bit like michael jackson, and pedophiles aren't cool! D:

hahah lime green hair?! i've never seen that before! turquoise hair (RAQUEL REED FTW) is pretty cool, too :)
YAY HAIR DYE.
my mom will kill me before she lets me dye my hair though, hah xD
it's like, black, so color doesn't really show up.. :(

One of the ladies who worked on my hair at CostCutters (hehe, that name is just catching!) had blonde and brown hair with turquoise highlights. IT WAS SO COOL.
It's definitely going to either be red or golden blonde next time. If I go to boarding school, I want something that makes me stick out- red hair will do just the trick!

Oh, and for Locks of Love, there's a minimum of 10 inches!

RANDOM TOPIC (but still BS related):
How will you be getting spending money? How much do you think your parents are going to send you (not meant to be an obscene, how-rich-are-you question, lol)? Will you work this summer to save up?

My mom will probably open a checking account with the local bank, wherever I end up, and send the account some money each month and get me an ATM card. We're tentatively agreed on $50 a month, plus whatever I get from working this summer. :D

Saer- That is SO great! Which school's coach told you that?

My parents will set up a debit card for me to make local purchases, and will continue to pay my credit card bills for online purchases. They are limiting me to around 500 a month on the debit card, which will be a challenge for me. I am excited to try to do my part to save my family money during the hard economic times. The amount I would spend monthly at BS is much less then what I would spend in a given month at home. Does anyone if there are any restrictions on ordering online at BS?

Are you kidding melissax225? Sorry but that sounds kind of ridiculous that ONLY spending $500 a month plus online shopping is " doing your part to help the family during hard economic times". I can only hope this is a joke!

^^ same (10 char)

oh WOW :O

well .. err.. melissa, i just hope you're joking. (i have no idea how obscenely rich your family is, so i won't try to be judgemental, but.. >.>)

if i go to boarding school, i'll probably be limited to like.. nothing a month. my mom doesn't give out allowance! she's all "i provide a roof over your head, feed you, blah blah blah. you should be paying me!"
uh.. O-kaay..
i get 50 dollars for my birthday and chinese new year, so 100 a year.. ish? :P
my birthday's at the start of the academic year (september baby, woot!) so that's a boost, heehee.

i'm not sure what i'd really buy at boarding school, though .. i would probably call my mom to send me anything (like blankets and stuff? haha).

Ya I don't really get allowance. But I'm not going to put down my parents....anything I've ever asked for they've tried their best to get it for me. With age came wisdom, sooner or later I noticed this and stopped asking for so much to help them out.

aww, make me feel bad for whining, why don't you? DDD:
jk jk.

but "anything i've ever asked for they've tried their best to .. " ?! hm. then i can see why you wouldn't put down your parents, but my family's waay different from that, so .. D:

MY DAD'S REALLY NICE, THOUGH! that counts, right? :D
is anybody going to warped tour '09 this year? i hope paramore comes to vancouver <3
