Everytime I start thinking that I'll get in I get really excited...
... only to have that hope crushed when I get on here.

I keep thinking, "Why aren't my SSATs good enough? Why aren't my ECs original enough? Why didn't I do better on my essays? Did my teachers write good recommendations? Was my interview too weird? Am I not original, diverse? Do I have a hook?" Every single time I come on here. It really stinks. =/

What would you do if your letters came and you got rejected to all of the schools you applied to?
I'd probably cry and eat loads of chocolate... then cry some more.

Gotta love February vacation. Perfect time for me to have birthday parties and the like!
We have 24 days left! A little more than 3 weeks! :D Thank God for sticking with it...

We don't have any more real vacation until summer. Sure, we get Good Friday and the Monday following Easter off of school, and they call it "spring break," but it's no different than getting President's Day off.

Wahahahaha. We get another week off in April, I think, for spring break. And long weekends every other month. And we get half days on every first Wednesday of the month for "teacher development". My school is altogether too lax.

I have a four day weekend instead of Feb. break (Friday and Monday off) and the I have two weeks of break in March (right after the decisions, I really hope mine aren't too late seeing as I'm leaving for a 1 week vacation hundreds of miles away, on the 14th) and then I do not have the regular april "spring break". I also get off in the summer somewhere between June 2 and June 6 (according to most people, including me, thats insanely early) most schools in my area get off between the 23 and 28 of June.

Your school breaks seem pretty kickbutt!
Our last day of classes is usually June 10th, and then we have regents/finals from then until the 20th, and those days are half days.
