IF you have any questions, I took notes after the interview. And 2 of the admissions officers told my father that the interview was ideal and that they wished that every interview could be like that. So I did a pretty good job I would like to think. I'm a very good conversationalist and I do Mock Trial/Knowledge Bowl/Debate. All in all that helped me so much, but watch what you say. Several times they said, "I'm glad you included that. Very important." I had some "unique" answers.

Is anyone doing anything cool when they get their letters? I'm meeting at a friends house with about 5 of my friends and one of my friends that graduated is coming back home that weekend. As soon as she gets in the house the letters are going to be opened... And who knows what happens next? Alot of cheering, or maybe some "Boo you got in... You're leaving us... We love you... Not really."

italian boarder-
did you write your notes in front of the interviewer?
or was it like...after?
also, were there any really unexpected questions at the andover and hotchkiss interview?

Grrr. I'm so dumb... And unfinished...

I did them after.

I was asked a total of 10 questions from 4 interviews. I turned it from a Q&A into a conversation. I know that my interviewers were probably in the top ten that they will have this year... I do alot of debate and speech things... Plus I'm very social and I have a witty personality. Interviews were actually fun... I think the biggest thing was that I was not stressed out at all and I made them laugh at least 3 or 4 times. Always finishing a serious question in a joke and a smile... Plus I told my friends to meet me outside the admissions office and after I left one of my friends was called in and her advisor is an adminissions guy... He asked about me. I guess he also associated me with "good" students that he liked... Helped my chances? I'd like to think so.

hahah
im doing all of my interviews in america except for 1.
