Countdown to June 2011 International SAT Scores/Results Thread

Now we all know that 2011 June Intl SAT is the same one as 2010 June USA SAT. I assume that curve for the recycled test would be identical to the original one whose CR curve is very generous, maybe due to hard vocabs...

Anyway, the test is over! What are you guys going to do while waiting for scores?

All of the below are American curves:
(thanks 1253729!)

CR curve for the June 2010 SAT:
67=800
66=800
65=800
64=800
63=780
62=760
61=740
60=730

M curve for the June 2010 SAT:
54=800
53=760
52=740
51=
50=
49=710
48=

Writing MC curve for the June 2010 SAT:
49=80
48=79
47=76
46=
45=72
44=70

sorry if my question’s a bit dumb, but are the SAT’s offered outside of the US different from the ones offered in the US?

I just took the june 4 SAT outside of the US, and I agree, the vocabulary, from what I remember, was hard.

what a math curve!

I expecting around 54 in reading, what would that likely be?
and I guess I’ll be waiting for a 650+ in math!! :frowning: I got some easy questions wrong!! :frowning: the question that asked for the greatest 4 digit number that would sum up to 25, don’t ask me why I got it 9871… :'(

any difference between -1 mc and -1 grid-in?

Whitescars // I think SAT admistered outside U.S. has its own version, most usually “recycled from” one of the previous U.S. SATs…

NaderMekadis // I’m thinking around 630

Withoutdoubt // one wrong grid-in accounts for -1. Math curve has been brutual recently…

what would a -ve 12 c.r. give me?

-12 wrong in CR is -15 in raw score… which would result in around 630 considering the difficulty… I guess

thanx…n wat abt -3writing 10 essay…i dnt really know how to convert the mc score

Due to the comparably low difficulty, math curve is harsh.

// It’s really kind of creepy that the scores are coming…

^ i don’t think it was easier than any other test administered.

^ More people are becoming good at SAT Math

^ not convincing.

Mathhh curve noooo

I hope for 1900 but I think I will get 1800+

Anyone remember the exact question for the one with the f(x) and g(x)? It said that g(x) = f(x+1) + f(x-1) and asked to find g(certain value it gave)… what was the equation for f(x)…anyone remember?

I solved this by moving f(x) to the left one unit then to the right one unit which resulted in g(x) being the same graph as f(x). After I have read some posts though, I am really uncertain about this method…I am thinnking that I should have added the two different values of f(x+1) and f(x-1) separately then added them together…did anyone try both methods? if so, did you get the same answer??

^ There wasn’t a given equation, a graph was given.
And if you did it the two different ways you got two different answers: 3 vs. the correct answer, 6. (By adding the two values separately.)

oh my gosh…the math curve…
will international scores be released just like in the US, so about 12:anything EST??? I hope so, cause I want to check them out before leaving for school!!!

They’re upppppp!

700 CR 800 M 720 W

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.

wait haha same score :slight_smile: in the same breakdown too

^ super weird!

What were your writing components?
I was 70 MC, 10 Essay.
