== Official International SAT June 2012 Curve Prediction ==

Let's predict curve for International SAT June 2012.

Math :
-1 = 800
-2 = 780
-3 = 760

CR :
-1 = 800
-2 = 800
-3 = 760

Writing :
-0 (10) = 800
-1 (10) = 780
-1 (11) = 800

i am not sure about Math curve. Can anyone know the curve?

This worries me. :(

more like
-1 maths = 780
-2 = 760
-3= 740

@wharton3
It’s not going to be that harsh I’m sure :O

@bastketballer23, how do you know?? did you check 2011 june’s curve?

Just playin’.

It’s gonna be pretty harsh. Especially writing.

-1 M should be a 780; I know because I combed through the 2011 June threads. (See http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1159331-countdown-june-sat-2011-results-22.html</a>.)

Math:
-1 = 780
-2 = 760
-3 = 740

Writing:
(MC, E) is a ___.
(52, 8) is a 520.
(62, 9) is a 640.
(63, 9) is a 650.
(63,10) is a 670.
(63,11) is a 690.
(69, 8) is a 670.
(69,10) is a 710.
(69,11) is a 730.
(69,12) is a 750.
(70, 8) is a 680.
(70, 9) is a 710.
(70,10) is a 730.
(70,12) is a 770.
(71, 8) is a 700.
(74, 9) is a 740.
(74,10) is a 760.
(74,11) is a 780.
(77, 5) is a 690.
(77, 8) is a 740.
(77, 9) is a 770.
(77,10) is a 780.
(77,11) is an 800.
(77,12) is an 800.
(79,10) is a 790.
(80, 7) is a 760.
(80, 8) is a 770.
(80,10) is an 800.
(80,11) is an 800.
(80,12) is an 800.

I’m expecting a harsher curve in writing… it was really easy. First time I felt confident about every single answer. (min.78MC)

the writing curve above is the right one, Wharton3

Assuming I get 10 on essay, how many wrong in mc do i have to get to get 77, 74, and 70?

Yes, the curve above is right because it’s what U.S. June 2011 SAT takers got.

MoonTuHon, estimating from the above list, you’d need a 76 or 75 MC for a 770, 71 MC for a 740, and 67 or 68 MC for a 700.

what is a -8 in math ?

Probably around a 660. (Source: the U.S. June 2011 results indicate a math curve similar to BB’s second test; -8 on that test was a 660.)

Guys what about CR? How much would I score with -2 Math, 80 W (9/10 E), and -6 or so CR?

Probably 800 W and 760 M; I don’t really know about the CR curve though. I’d say 700-750.

I am always confused with those writing MC scores, how many wrongs is it to get 76 or 75 mc? how do u calculate it?

I think I did very well on the MC but not the essay. I’ll probably get an 8 :/

I thought CR was medium-hard. So -6 = 730?

^Yeh I have a feeling thats correct… Was a bit harder than normal CR (I usually only lose 2/3)
