Countdown to MIT Decisions 2013!

Just a slight correction to the template—it should probably have an option for “Waitlisted” rather than “Deferred”

I can confirm he protected his tweets afterwards.
This guy kept retweeting congratulations tweets from his friends all the night… For a lie… That’s silly.

@Mollie Hahaha thanks ! I also schearched a while for the [noparse] tag (tried things like

and stuff). Glad you fixed it ! ;)</p>

Ah, the perils of copy-pasting the EA template. Fixed now.

10 hours left! Good luck, everyone!

Feels weird. Idk what to expect.

A “visit request form” is on the first page of MYMIT account. Is it for everyone?

Shadow a Student Program: Visit Request Form

It has been there for several days now

I’m pretty sure that’s always been there

I confirm that this was always there.

hey guys, you know what this thread and you cc’ers remind me of?..
the BACHELOR…
you all apply with the intention of getting the final rose… and half of you guys will get rejected the first round and not get a rose. To those of you who make the second round, having ‘good grades’ no longer makes you stand out. Now you must have intense EC’s and be ‘unique’ to win the eyecandy prize…You also need to take all kinds of torture…doing intense EC’s so you’re closer to getting engaged…I mean accepted… This is parallel to the bachelor torturing the contestants by making them bungee jump off buildings, eating bugs in thailand, and going out for a swim in ice water just to get hyperthermia (p.s. you get rejected if you have the sense not to do it) and other crazy stunts. The bachelor interviews you, and his family interview you. You naively think, ‘‘YES, I beasted that interview, he has to give me the rose.’’ If you make the final cut, even if you have everything the bachelor Mr. MIT wants, he’ll still reject you. The bachelor can’t marry two girls even though he’s crazy about both of them…so one of them will be sorely dumped on national television for friends and family to witness. To allieviate your tension, I suggest all of you guys to STOP reading this thread immediately and go to the link below. Watch a few min of the beg and I guarantee you’ll be hooked. This video I’m going to share will distract you from all your fears/tensions when you receive the news in the final rose ceremony. If you get rejected, I promise this will distract you from your rejection…YOUR WELCOME ccers… no need to thank me… [The Bachelor Season 17 Episode 12 | Full TV Episode Online - ABC.com](http://abc.go.com/watch/the-bachelor/SH559030/VDKA0_zw91wdyr/season-finale)

3 freakin’ hours to go guys !!

No, there’s not. Students at Harvard can cross-register for classes at MIT, and vice-versa, but it’s not a “program”, and you don’t have to “apply” or be selected.

MITChris (who’s an MIT admissions officer) says otherwise on the previous page.

I would love to be accepted. It would be a dream come true; the idea of being accepted would give me never-ending happiness

But, let us not look down at ourselves if we do not get admitted. It has been an incredible few weeks with all of you and I wish you all the best of luck.

T-2 hours and 2 minutes >_<

Good luck to you all, live long and prosper.

Good luck everyone!

Good luck everyone!!

Life’s battles don’t always go to the stronger or faster man. But sooner or later, the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.
Vince Lombardi

At what time exactly do decisions come out?

6:28 (2π or τ, mathematically speaking).

Good luck everybody!

I’m not applying to MIT, but I just wanted to come on here and wish everyone good luck!

A friend of mine is freaking out over decisions. I’ll probably go on Facebook to calm her down when it gets closer to Tau time.

And don’t forget: whatever happens, there are plenty of other fish in the admissions sea. :D

It’s getting closer and closer…

T-82 minutes.
