I figured I'd copy the guys in Stanford who are doing this for SCEA... so why not have a thread for those of us who applied early to MIT and are now experiencing a very difficult wait! I'll start it off and we can talk as we get closer to Dec. 15th...

December 13... that kind of sucks. Why? Because I have exams December 17 (only French and Math, but still...). If I get in, I'll want to... not study. If I don't get in, I'll be depressed.

are you guys going to complete ALL of your RD apps before the 13th in anticipation that you don't get in to MIT? Will you apply elsewhere if you do get in? My mom is trying to convince me to for financial reasons/scholarship options.

Haha I'm making that my homepage too rofl.

I'm applying to 2 other schools before my MIT decision only in case there's a huge discrepancy in financial aid, and then I'm going to start working on my if I don't get into MIT schools just so I won't be rushing to get the rest of the applications in by Jan. 1st.

unfortunately, a lot of my other schools have specific program that i'm interested in...and these programs have deadlines that are on december 1st - so i have to keep working =( even though i don't want to. plus, i have to finish the duke app before dec 10, just so i can get an interview -___- sigh
