<p>I woke up and checked the portal…nothing. This is going to be a long weekend.</p>
<p>I dreamt that I had woken up to a Rice acceptance email. Kind of disappointed right now.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t mind the waiting if we had a definitive date. False hope sucks :(</p>
<p>@Ghgirl - I agree. The “not knowing when it’s coming” is the hardest part for me!</p>
<p>Could there even be a possibility of decisions releasing tonight or Sunday night? Or is Monday the absolute earliest?</p>

<p>@Abcerv14 I definitely know how you feel there, that’s how I woke up on Friday. It was disappointing but kind of nice at the same time, as I’ve gotten used to dreaming about rejection letters.</p>
<p>so far i’ve been accepted to UCLA, Wesleyan University, Brandeis University, and the University of Pittsburgh and rejected from 4 schools. hopefully rice brings good news! :)</p>
<p>@SuperrMom Most schools don’t officially release decisions over the weekend, but some schools may have the system of slowly chugging out decisions, so some people may get their decisions over the weekend. This happened to me today. Almost everyone I knew had heard back from American University yesterday, and I didn’t, but I found out this morning at 6 am that I had gotten in, and since I had last checked at 1 am, I knew that this had happened over night.</p>
<p>Rice is my last decision and I just want to know! I’ve been accepted to Smith, Scripps, Tulane, Carleton, UT Austin, University of Minnesota for biology, and then a couple safeties, but I was waitlisted at Northwestern so I’m really nervous about Rice.</p>
<p>I received two decisions today, even on a Saturday - Boston University and Davidson College. Perhaps Rice will release tonight?</p>
<p>@jkim27, did you receive an email from Davidson? Or physical mail? And I’ve gotten into Scripps, Olin, RPI, UW, and waiting on Davidson, Rice, UCBerkeley, and USC! Rice has been one of my top schools for a few years now, so I’m pretty anxious!</p>
<p>I’m going to pretend that decisions are going to come out on Friday, so that way I won’t be dissapointed if it doesn’t come on Monday.

<p>@socialtoseattle Davidson had a web portal - a link you can click onto from the main admissions page.</p>
<p>I just got waitlisted at Carleton so right now I’m 3/3 on waitlists…agh. So basically I have to hope my perspective essay for Rice was really good, since I guess my common app essay didn’t do it for the other schools.</p>
<p>When I login to my esther account, everything is grayed out…so I don’t think I got in…</p>

<p>I think the things have been greyed out for weeks. Mine started showing that nearly a month ago.</p>
