Countdown to RD Notification

I started the ED one, so I might as well start the RD one, too. :)

78 days.

Using this clock (<a href="http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html</a>)</p>

I really think that for your mental health and the mental health of everyone on this board you shouldn't count down like this...

yeah, really, i mean i am already quite uncertain as it is about my future. and kebree, how did you go to public college last year? princeton doesn't accept transfers. april is too frikken far away!!!!

Haha, actually I just wanted to start this thread because I'd done the other one. Weird, maybe, but there you have it.

sicarii: Last year I took 4 dual-enrollment classes at a public U., which was full time.

kebree, where else did you apply?

Was it a community college or a 4-year university that you took classes at?

I applied to Yale, Harvard, UVa, Davidson, and Centre College. What about you?
4-year--I took Physics, Calc I, 4th semester French, and US history.

actually, when you put it in days, 78 doesn't sound like that many.

i mean, 78 more days until we really know what our future will be like, until we must face the reality that high school will be over, that we may never see some of our friends again. thank goodness for homework to help stretch the time :p

it is way tooo early to start thinking about that. I wont start thinking about that until after Spring Break.

I don't think she's going to be updating it every day, guys. She's just posting an initial day count.

Good call, Phil. That was the plan. (I thought that came across with the "I just wanted to start this thread because I'd done the other one" comment, but apparently not.)

you won't? sad. maybe i will :p

...and you'll get flamed for it. :)

but that's dumb

I applied to Brown Columbia Penn Williams and Lehigh

I asked because most kids that are homeschooled in my area took classes at the Community colleges around here, I didn't know you could go to a four-year as a high schooler lol

this is a serious question: when do the RD letters come? how much does it differ by school to school?

I think it's April 1st for pretty much all of them, through some might be a bit earlier....they have to do that (and have a common reply date) so that students and compare aid packages, etc.

alright thanks

April 1 is the day we get back from Spring Break at my school. As if we won't already be having a bad enough day, suffering culture shock returning to the cold Midwest from the sunny beaches we've just recently vacated....

Oh dear..... Well, at least the week before I can try to de-stress.... Although that's a big "are you kidding me?!"

Does anyone else's break follow this heartless :p schedule?

My spring break is the last week of April, so I will be enjoying my spring break knowing where I'll be in the next four years.

You are one very lucky stiff. :) Obviously the school board office for your district took pity on the senior class when setting the calendar!
