1400/1970 (?). Stupid essay lol. Oh well, I have the ACT in April. 31+ and I’ll be fine.

I’ll update my thread (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1087610-experimenting-sat-ideas-wanted.html) on April 5th when the full score report becomes available.

^ What did you end up getting on the Essay? Very curious. ![]()
EDIT: Oh woops, I’ll see on April 5th then, haha.

1830 . pretty good for going in cold.

not as great as you CCers though but come may, that 2400 is mine

2110!!!
680 CR/690 M/740 W (68/11)
I’m so happy!!! I was expecting to get an 1800!

2080…

I’m a little disappointed because I was shooting for a 2100 and came 20 points away… 20 points!

03/2011 SAT Reasoning Test
Critical Reading 730 97%
Math 700 93%
Writing 780 99%
Multiple Choice 79 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 9 (score range: 2-12)

Well, crap. I was hoping for 2300+ and that math score nearly gave me a heart attack. Always next time then, eh?

1870

Yeah, everyone probably thinks Im dumb because you all are getting 2000+ and some complaining about it but Im happy with mine, my percentiles were really good, my essay was really good, and for my first time taking the test I was happy. I scored higher then any of my practices so that’s all good and all.

just missed my 2200 ahhnh

730 CR
740 M
710 W

1470, 2180. 20 points!

gardy- an 1830 is fine. Its not about others, its about your personal ability. And if you can take it later, than you can improve again.

ACTTester- I got a 6 on the essay(OUCH!- thats what I thought). Kinda mad since I got 740 in math and 66o in CR. BUt writing isnt very important, is it? ANd I belive you mean April 9 but yeah I’ll fly to Illinois and we can catch a Big Mac before flying back for the test lol :D

how do i see my essay? it says the full score report isn’t available until 4/5?

what was the CR curve?

CR: 670
M: 740
W: 610

So, 2020? Not unhappy.

Ecstatic about the math! Whee. Ehh @ CR, but I think I can break 700 simply by studying vocab and a little more practice. Ew @ Writing. I really have a hard time on the ones that are one big sentence, with the answer choices inserted into it…and I guess I didn’t do so well on the essay! :/

Should I click the button?

2030 After a 181 PSAT =D And no prep… just thinking I could get a 2200 now if I practice?

The killer was 600 math though :|

@buffalowizard

Come on man! I definitely had that question correct and I omitted 3 in the 16 question, 20 min math section. And math was one of the Exp sections, correct me if I’m wrong. I honestly can’t remember how many of them I counted?

Reading ***** me in the a$, to say the least. It threw me on the floor forecefully, took off my pants, and ***** me up big time.

So with that, harsh reading curve?

@vvip002
I rushed through the math sections so I’d have time to… erm… record some of my experimental “observations” using my calculator (I’m not particularly adept as a TI-83 typist).

Apparently I scored a 79 MC (darn organic plants) and an 8 on the essay.

Oh my gosh…I’m retaking. I didn’t even get anything in the PSAT projected score band (1940-2230). And here I was thinking that I was guaranteed to break 2000. Oh well.

CR: 710
M:560 (Bahahahahahahahaha)
W: 660, (68 MC, 8 essay)
Total:1930

Actually, here I was touting an estimated/hoped for 2200. I’d steeled myself for a possible 1800, so I’m not really disappointed. I just didn’t think I got that much wrong in the writing and CR…

Okay, this is probably an annoying question, but I hope someone will take it seriously. I got a 2400 (woohoo!) but a 10 on the essay. How much do the Ivies care about the essay? Should I take the SAT again in the fall to try to get an 11 or 12 on the essay? I had a hard time coming up with any examples from literature or history on this one (reality entertainment–good or bad?).
