Couple Questions about Psych Classes

I’m considering taking Psychology 166AC (Cultural Psychology) or Psychology 167AC (Stigma and Prejudice) to get my American Cultures requirement out of the way.

Would these classes be curved?

A. If so is it likely the class will be filled with pre-meds that will make the
curve particularly brutal?

B. Are curves within each discussion section or as the lecture class as a
whole?

At my community college, I have taken intro to psych, bio psych, abnormal psych and developmental psych. With this background, which class would be easier?

Most psych classes here seem to be graded on a straight scale.

And why the heck would there be so many premeds in psych classes? Am I missing something?

"And why the heck would there be so many premeds in psych classes? Am I missing something?"

From what I know, some students major in psychology intend to go to med school (particularly if they want to do psychiatry). I'm not sure how prevalent this is at Berkeley though.

any more thoughts?
