Last semester, I took a community college Intro to Art Course. It was only a semester long, but my counselor told me it would fulfill the one year requirement for colleges. After finding out how many other things she has been wrong on, I'm wondering If she was wrong on this also. Will I need to take another Art class to fulfill the one year requirement?

Each college has its required core curriculum -- and they vary. It depends on what school you'll eventually attend -- and even if the credits transfer. They might not.

I know of no colleges that require Intro to Art per se.

Some schools require a fine arts class but I don't think the Intro to Art course would fulfill that requirement (unless you end up taking an AP art exam).
