course advice

so i got my schedule and it turns out that they didn't put me in a calc at all since i APed out of AB even though i requested 135, so uh...should i just take it and roll with it? would it be alright to take calc 136 my second semester?

btw my current schedule is: general bio, general chem, italian, and expos

also, i was thinking about replacing italian with another easy elective...maybe food science? any suggestions?

Take gen psych. An easy 3 credit.

APed out of that as well lol

A lot of upperclassmen told me that the course "Science of Food" is supposed to be fairly easy and interesting..any thoughts?

"Take gen psych. An easy 3 credit."

depends on the teacher

yeah science of food is fun.. Try to get Dr. Montville if possible easy A and he is a nice guy.

yeah the science of food is taught by dr. montville

his son is a good friend of mine and he recommend the class to me

so is it really an easy A? Like...easier than a language like italian or spanish?

i have another problem...

so on my schedule they overlapped general bio and chem, and since there are no available sections at this time, i have to drop one and put myself on the "waiting list" for the course. I have all of my classes on douglass, and specifically i've heard that general bio on douglass is easier..is this true?

So ultimately my question is...which course should i drop temporarily, and put my name on the waiting list..general bio or chem?

Martin/French or Brey/Janes for bio?

Thanks

i knew very few people who took calc II their first sem.. and they got their bums kicked. apparently one of the biggest weeders in RU i think. so i guess if you're taking it be prepared!

and i find it odd you were given a conflicted schedule.. double check and make sure, i've never heard that happening before.. unless things have changed.

yeah, on wednesdays they scheduled bio from 9:15-12:15 and general chem from 11-12 or something like that
