Hey I'm taking biology 101, calculus 104, and latin 101 What can I expect from these three courses?? Are they easy or difficult??

You're likely to fail all 3.

Have you taken AP Bio or Calc (BC)?

You really want a 4th class.....

jelly88,
Yes, I took AP Calculus BC my junior year and I got a 3 on the BC portion of the exam and a 4 on the AB. I also took AP Biology, but I opted out of the exam. We really didn't learn too much in that class...

Venkat,
I have a fourth class.. its a writing seminar, but I'm only interested in the courseload in the latin, bio, and calc.

withonevoice.... What makes me likely to fail all three?

He was joking. Probably.

I thought he knew someone who failed all three...

Sarcasm is sometimes hard to notice online without facial expressions or voice intonation.

But, I thought that piece of sarcastic humor was very obvious...

bio is easy - keep up with the reading the first sem (daldal, im guessing) and print out/study the powerpoints 2nd sem (if dunham/helliker).

Thanks Paro46.

Do you guys like to have like half hour/hour breaks between your classes, or is it better to just put them one after another?

I try to avoid half hour or hour breaks. For me it usually ends up being a waste of time.

would a 4 hours block be too much (2 classes)?

What classes are they?

I don't know what Calc 104 entails but if you received only a score of 3 in the AP Calc BC, I would not advise taking anything higher than Calc BC. College calculus is much more rigorous than high school AP calculus and you would not want to struggle in a class your first semester.

Eloquence, a small history class and a writing seminar

bump...
i really don't know...would a 4 hours block be too much? (a small history seminar and a writing seminar back to back)

Bring a pillow to class.
