I am planning on doing pre-med track and am already a year behind (I didn't want to, and now I do, etc, etc) so I will be taking Chem 1a this semester. I also need to take Soc 1 and Anthro 3ac for my major (so I have those on my schedule) and am taking Math 16b. Essentially, my question is. . . for a person overwhelmed with the thought of Chem 1a, are these (total of 15 units) classes too much? Is it manageable, but not in the sense that I would have to live in the library?
Also, are anthro 3ac and soc 1 worth 4 units? lots of work?

It really doesn’t sound bad. Let’s see… math 16b requires 0-1 hours of work per week. Annd I heard the professor teaching soc 1 this semester is easy. Anthro 3ac… doesn’t sound like fun to me. xP But I think it should be manageable. And chem 1a is actually somewhat enjoyable. Bottom line: I think you’ll be fine!

why does everyone say anthro 3ac is bad? I have seen that comment on here multiple times. . . the professor is new this semester :/

you have three years to do the requirements; you’ll easily catch up. courseload this semester doesn’t look too bad. More or less, ac courses are a pain in the ass…

wow… chem 1a somewhat fun? Eh I dreaded those days… but I guess it really depends on what your background in chem is like.

who doesn’t like thinking about paint and cola drinks when taking an unexpectedly tricky and difficult final exam, far more devious than the ‘practice’ exams???
