Course offerings in business school and college of arts and sciences

Hi!

I am interested in applying as a transfer to BU for fall 2011. I am confused about what college to apply to. I am interested in studying economics, accounting and mathematics. From what I know, econ and maths are offered as part of liberal arts but accounting under business school. Is it possible for liberal arts students to take accounting classes at the B school? Can you please decribe the course offerings of the B school?

I will really appreciate an insider’s response.

Thanks :)

Bump!!!

You are correct, math and econ are in CAS and accounting is in SMG. It is somewhat difficult for a CAS student to take accounting classes in SMG because of the fairly restrictive prerequisites for the accounting classes (but you could do an SMG minor).
