Course Overloading

What is the maximum number of classes one can take per semester? What is the policy on grad level classes?

Thanks

I think 4.5 credits is the max, but you can go over with registrar's approval. I'm assuming that it's not too hard to get.

I think it's 4.5 for first semester freshmen. Otherwise, you can register for up to 4.5 during your registration period but can go up to 5.5 after everyone registers. There are some exceptions where you could take more amounts of classes, but you need approval.

There are grad level classes that undergrads can take. I'm not sure about the fine print though. I have to take a couple of grad level classes for my major. I took one already. (Some of my non-grad level classes were tougher.)

The normal max courseload is 4.5 credits. You are allowed to take 5 credits without approval. Anything above I think you need approval, and I heard it's all staggered. Meaning you have to have taken 5.5 credits before you take 6, etc. Idk about the absolute max, prolly 6 or 6.5.

Found this. Didn't read through it, but it might be helpful. Applies to Trinity:

For courseload:

For 200 level (grad) classes:
