Course Registration for Management Exchange

I will come to McGill's faculty of management as an exchange student in the next semester, and currently I am registering for the courses. I have nearly finished my course registration, with 5 course selected. However, I am required by management faculty to register at least 2 management courses but I have only registered 1 now with the other four courses all in economics. The fact is that, despite the requirement by the management faculty, I was not prohibited to register a course schedule like that on Minerva. So, my question is that, if I do not change my schedule and just have the 5 courses that I have registered in now, what aftermath will there be? Will I have any punishment or trouble? Does anyone here know this? I am eagerly looking forward to your help!

Contact your BCom advisor. Minerva doesn’t do any but the most basic program restrictions because of the vast degree of variability. Your advisor should be able to tell you whether the “two courses per term” thing is simply a recommendation (to help you plot a successful completion of your program) or is a requirement, and if the latter, what kind of repercussions there will be should you choose to violate it.
