Admitted to McGill Management and was just wondering if taking about 7 classes per semester was totally crazy? I was thinking of taking 5 regular classes and the additional two that were interesting to me but still pretty easy. Any classes like that out there and do you guys think it's possible (without me committing suicide?)

That's insane dude. Six is stretching it, but seven will kill you. If you want to take extra courses, do a summer semester.

Maybe if you were taking bobo classes. But in general, over 5 classes is deadly. Even 5 classes can be stressful.

Usually, especially at first, you should take no more than 5 courses, and it's not a bad idea to have one bird course (such as Art of Listening, aka Clap for Credits) among those 5. Once you get used to university life and courses (usually after a year or so), then you can consider taking maybe 6 courses (but not 7, unless you're insane or insanely smart) or stick to challenging courses.

you would need special permission to take that many credits in one term

I actually heard Art of Listening is hard now. It was definitely a bird course when i took it a while back.

ya they changed the curriculum. my roommates, who are all in management, also told me that they changed the entire management curriculum and it's supposedly harder now
