Course Requirement for SCIENCE major?

I talked to couple of BC alumni (who graduated from there about 25 years ago) and they told me that in order to graduate from BC, I need to take some core courses. Is that true??

-If it is, what are the course courses do I have to take as SCIENCE major?? I was accepted to The College of Arts and Sciences.

-Are there any basic philosophy/religion courses that must be fulfilled, but what exactly are the requirements? (My major is probably gonna be physics and math)

For a physics major, apparently these courses are required:

[Undergraduate Program description | Boston College Physics](http://www.physics.bc.edu/Deptsite/ug/major.shtml)

And of course, you have your core curriculum here:
