Does it really matter whether you take four years of a language or not? If I decide to take 3 but still reach AP Spanish does that matter? Also is necessary that I take 4 years of history? Cause I don't really like either..rather take some college courses in math and science...plus should I take study hall junior year? is this bad, cause I think everyone takes it. my counselor says I'll burnout if I don't but I don't believe him...Sorry for all the questions!

Double post?

No, it's not necessary to take either. Especially if you go through AP, 3 is ok. And for the history, I plan on going into history as a major and have only taken two years so you're fine there. HOWEVER, do you mean history or social studies? You SHOULD take four years of social studies.

And as for the study hall... what is the rest of your schedule? And what colleges are you aiming for?

it will be all AP's and multivariable calculus. I wanted to take a course in molecular biology at Princeton instead. Do you think that would be a good idea? Or should i wait?

as for colleges i'm not sure. lets assume HYPSM although i'm probably not going to apply to all of them.
