So i was reading Wesleyan's profile in the fiske guide to colleges and it says that students are required to take 2 courses in sci/ math 1st 2 years and 1 course in sci/math last two years. Is this info up to date?

Sort of. These are the general education expectations; you don't have to fulfill them to graduate or anything, but a couple of majors require it and others require it to graduate with honors. From the website:

"What are the consequences of not satisfying the General Education Expectations? When will I be informed?

Students should be aware that some departments require fulfillment of GenEd Expectations for admission to the major, completion of the major, or for eligibility for departmental honors. In addition, students who do not satisfy the GenEd Expectations are not eligible for University Honors or for election to Phi Beta Kappa."

I'd say that most people wind up fulfilling the "GenEd" expectations, because it's really not that hard. It involves taking 2 courses in each of the following areas the first two years, and 1 course in each the last two years: NSM (i.e. Natural science and mathematics... includes Psychology), SBS (Social and Behavioral Sciences), and HA (Humanities and Arts).

I was surprised to find that, without planning it, by the end of my freshman year I only had one SBS requirement to fill my sophomore year and then I'd be golden.

Here's a link to a list of courses that fulfill GenEd Expectations in each area: https://iasext.wesleyan.edu/regprod/!wesmaps_page.html?gened_list=&term=1069

You don't have to wait until your junior or senior year to finish, though. I just need one NSM (which I'm taking this fall) and then I'll be DONE.

so... yeah, that "one course in each the last two years" isn't accurate. You can do them whenever.
