Hey, I am coming to SMU from UGA and have a question. At UGA we had this thing called the "UGA Course Review Key" which was basically a student (SGA) run website that compiled all different classes and sorted them by department, teacher, and year. From there you could actually look at the grade breakdowns for actual courses by teacher, class, etc. It was a real help in trying to come up with a good schedule. Anyone that goes to SMU know if anything like this exists? Thanks.

It would be great to be able to go to a website or forum that has what you describe, but I haven’t found anything like that.

What I did was use the ratemyprofessor website in conjunction with the “Search for Classes” on AccessSMU. Often when you look up a certain professor you can read opinions of the various classes that person teaches. It’s fun to read all the opinions. I’ve been inspired to sign up for classes I otherwise wouldn’t have discovered. My hope is to stick to those professors whose ratings are 4.0 and higher. It can be done. Then once you’re on campus, you can just ask around to get opinions as well.
