Whats more important for us transfers? The grades we get or the courses we take? Like if the avg gpa for accepted transfers is around a 3.5, will a 3.3 with very difficult courses be sort of an equivalent? tHANKS

Both college also look for the difficulty of courses you took.

courses. Once you get to new institution they only care about courses you scored 'C' or better in, and your GPA is out the window once you are accepted.

i think grades are pretty important too though. This is totally in my opinion, but since everyone is now taking upper level courses, it's more of a matter of if you can handle or not. If you don't have a good GPA at the school you're already at, I'm sure they're going to wonder how well you would do at their school...which im assuming would be a better one.

Totally agree with you red92! :-)

Yeah, I think GPA will always play a factor, but if say you're a freshman and you took a lot of honors courses or you took sophomore and junior level courses, then the admissions commitees would probably take that into consdieration.

it's about completing lower devision classes when u mention classes IMO.
