Female coming from the Northeast heard that Wake students wear cowboy boots and sundresses to football games....is this true? what kind/brand of boots are they wearing. This is not big in the northeast!

Sundresses, yes - part of the culture. Cowboy boots, if accurate, should be merely a passing fad. (Frankly, I can’t imagine anything less appealing with a sundress.)

I hope they’re a passing fad. It’s silly.

If you go to collegefashion dot net, you can see an article about how the boots go with dresses.

Definitely big cowboy boot wearers here! The best are Frye boots but they’re rather expensive. Super, super comfortable. People will wear them with sundresses or jeans or whatever… they’re pretty versatile here.

A lot of girls wear Jack Rogers with sundresses though especially during the warmer months.

I saw quite a few girls in Austin wearing boots with dresses. It does seem odd to me!

I have a theory of how Ugg boots got their brand name. That’s the sound I make whenever I see an otherwise attractive young woman wearing boots with a dress.
