I plan to fulfill the California requirements to become a CPA. In addition to having earned a baccalaureate degree, it is required to complete 24 sem units in accounting and an additional 24 sem units in other business-related courses. I have a baccalaureate degree and am trying to decide how/where I should take the additional core units required. Taking these courses at a regionally accredited community college would clearly be the most affordable.

Would I be sacrificing potential opportunities by completing the course requirements at a community college versus a more prestigious college or university that has equivalent accreditation (regional)?
