CPA Education - Community College?

I plan to fulfill the California requirements to become a CPA. In addition to having earned a baccalaureate degree, it is required to complete 24 sem units in accounting and an additional 24 sem units in other business-related courses. I have a baccalaureate degree and am trying to decide how/where I should take the additional core units required. Taking these courses at a regionally accredited community college would clearly be the most affordable.

Would I be sacrificing potential opportunities by completing the course requirements at a community college versus a more prestigious college or university that has equivalent accreditation (regional)?

Make an appointment with the CC where you would take those classes, and talk with the person in charge of the program. That person should be able to answer your questions.
