<p>Is there any point in this? I want strong hardware and software skills, and I'm not sure if just doing CpE with a minor in CS or just electives in CS will prepare me for a job as a software engineer or similar. I am really interested in robotics and Artificial Intelligence if you are wondering, though those aren't my only interests.</p>
<p>Figure out first what job you want, then work backwards to pick a major.
If you’re interested in software engineering then CS is fine.</p>
<p>Robotics and AI are, most likely, a passing interest. There are very few jobs in the area.</p>
