<p>I really want to go to CPW, so can I request MIT finaid office to pay for the flight fees so I can attend?</p>

How did you apply with a fee waiver? Through Questbridge?</p>

<p>Sell some stuff on ebay or craigslist, I just got plane tickets to NYC for 400 dollars two-way, and Im over in california.</p>
<p>I would email them to see what they can do. They offered to pay for my flight quite a while ago (I didn't apply for a fee waiver, either), and I'm sure they would at least try to see what they can do, even if it means subsidizing just 1/2 of your flight. You won't know until you try!</p>
