CR (boy who was lost, mars, japanese girl with art)

I believe the hurricanes one was "their".

maybe it was 2/5 dont remember

What about the one with the three circles that were tangent, two inside a big one? And we had to find the shaded area. I remember the decimal place was .44444. I think the fraction was 4/9.

o damn.......thanks jim you're probably right
i hope that section was experimental prays
yes .4444

Definitely 2/5.

I remember there was this really awkard sentence correction that made no sense to me. It was the first one of the section, and it had the word "when" used as a conjunction. It was the error (option c I think), but for some reason it totally threw me off, just cause the sentence made no sense...

what did you guys get for the one where it gives you x coordinate but not y coordinate (1, p), one of the eq was y=-x and the other was something else
ansrs were
2, 1, 0, -1, -2

schitz: That one should have been "where".

neoking: 2

Anyone remember for the lost boy, was it "boa****lness" (instead of "jubilant") and "naive" (instead of "adventurous")? And what did the mother think of the kid?

Erm... 2 or 1. I'm inclined to say 2.

Are you guys seniors? Last SAT?

schitz i don't know if this is the q you're talking about probably not but i had a question that completely threw me off as well, it was in the Cr section and i had never in my 10 years in canada heard such an expression

James (or some other name) took pains to be ____
something along that line
there was like congenial aloof composed

edit thanks jim i got 2 as well
yeah i'm a senior that was my last shot

Mother of kid: aloof.
Boy: adventurous.

I can't tell what the other question is you're asking...

yay!! I remember putting "aloof".

EDIT: Wha? So there's two questions with "aloof" as an answer?

same here, senior, first and last shot

thanks schitz i put aloof and adventurous as well
jim i put jubilant

neoking :the word is discreet, same here, senior too, but i thought u could take in jan for ivy leagues, thank god "when" was wrong

Then I probably overthought that one. I just thought "boa****lness" because the "But," was referring to the plot being clich

Ack! I didn't put jubilant. He didn't seem jubilant from the passage. I said mysterious... NO!

o darn......wow the sentence makes much more sense if discreet goes in i was thinking it the wrong way thanks judy

do you recall which passage jubilant was for?
speaking of 'myseterious'.....do you guys recall putting mystify as one of your answers?

mystify and venal or something o wait so it was mysterious for which question?

Uh, I remember it as an option. I think I chose it... just don't remember what the question was, lol.

Ordinarily I wouldn't care for a question-by-question breakdown of the SAT, but this is my last one!!! And I kind of need a score boost....
