It's (almost) the final night before the SAT tomorrow morning. What do you do? What do you study? Do you take it nice and easy, or do you cram like there's no tomorrow?

Tips, tricks, thoughts?

Although I personally don't study at all, here's what I think would be useful:

CR:
- Light reading. No Economist or Wall Street Journal. Try something like TIME or your local newspaper.

Vocab:
- Review your Greek/Latin roots. Don't try to re-memorize DH1&2.

Writing:
- Correct a friend's essay.
- Watch the news, and think of a thesis about a current event on the news.

Math:
- General math concept review. No actual problems.

Relaxation:
- Take a shower.
- Read a book in bed before falling asleep.

For CR:
Read until you understand the passage then rush through it.
Afterwards, go back and dissect it as you answer questions, while rereading the passage.
Try not to worry about time.

For M:
Make sure you understand every problem.
Check with legitimate formulas.

For SAT, it’s worthless to cram the night before.

If you haven’t prepared yourself for the month or two given from the time you signed up for the March SAT test then there’s really nothing for you to do but get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and read an article or chapter to stimulate your brain before taking a test… Brushing your teeth with the opposite hand from what you’re normally used to has been shown to catalyze increasing brain activity especially when you do it in the morning apparently

After finishing up a vigorous day of school, full of tests and good old fashioned learning, I get to have the day off tomorrow, as spring break starts next week for me. I have one more practice test left in the blue book. Might do a bit of it for last minute practice, but I’m pretty well prepared and now I just need to prevent making dumb mistakes.

It’s kind of funny, actually. A little over a month ago I was getting 10+ wrong on critical reading, 5+ wrong on math, and about 2 wrong on writing. Now I’m getting 0-2 wrong on CR, 0-2 wrong on math, and 0-2 wrong writing. I have no idea how, but CR suddenly became insanely easy out of nowhere.

i skipped school too but it doesn’t make a difference…my mom woke me up at 7am just to do last-minute cramming for SATs…i’m basically redoing some of the blue book problems i had trouble with, then memorizing the words i didnt know…and then i guess we’ll see how it goes from there :*
