According to GOLD, there is still some space open for a class that I want to take, however each section is full. Because of that, I wasn't able to register during my pass time. If the class still has space, do I just show up on the first day and hope to get into the class then and there? If that happens, what do I do about the section since they're all full?

If all the discussion sections are full you won’t be able to add the class even though it says there’s space in the lecture. Check for it on your 3rd pass and if all the sections are still full then you would have to crash it. I’ve never crashed a class before but I hear you email the professor to ask if you can crash it before the first day. You would then go the first day and if there’s room I think they will give an add code to add it on GOLD.

@ keltix: Unless a spot for one of the sections opens up, I don’t think I’ll be able to add the class. During my pass time, the same thing happened… The class had space, but none of the sections did. I wasn’t able to add it.

@ confused619: Thanks, that’s what I thought. I’ll email the prof and see what happens.
