I dunno where you go to school, but I highly doubt your teacher would call you a "doo-rag terrorist" and if you specifically asked her what homework you missed the day you came back, I cannot believe that she would not tell you

you clearly made something up...

Don't be so vicious and I've had teachers call me a terrorist too, even if it was just in jest, it's not funny.

Why would I "clearly make something up" and post it on a random board....

Seriously now, the manner in which she treats me is highly offensive.

Even when ppl jokingly call anyone a terrorist, it's not funny. I don't run around jokingly calling ppl members of the KKK or murders or anything else of such a great negative connotation. I mean the fact that ppl bother to even joke about someone bein ga terrorist, means that they are prejudiced, and I don't appreciate that. Plus, my teache rwasn't joking. She doesn't joke around wiht her students, and she was waering a very serious angry expression and continued to do so.....

To put it in short on the outcome, only two people remain in the class. They're the only white people too. Everyone else dropped today. The admin is conducting an investigation now, and already has evidence in e-mail and on critques from her ...she's not a nice lady.

ok i understand your situation more. this sounds like it really sucks; i'm sorry that youre going through this senior year! but you know what, this woman will get what she deserves.

btw i clicked on your name and we have the same bday. jan 2, awesome.

well if you asked the teacher and she didn't tell you, that's that. It should be reason enough for you to argue against the grade. Btw, make sure everything you use to correspond is written. Holds a lot more clout. Makes everything more serious, especially from a legal standpoint.

yea aspen, I didnt know you situation was that bad. Don't let this teacher win, try to fight her decision through the board of education...hopefully there's some sane-minded people on your board that will realize your plight and help you out

ok well it seems like nothing works so what you have to do now is get it publicly noticed. If you know someone who can get this story on the news or something, it would be of great use right now. Or try to get a petition. Drastic times call for drastic actions.

Not to completely doubt you, but I get a sneaking feeling something is still in the clouds... and not on the floor.

The teacher called you a terrorist, and specifiically REFUSED to give you the assignment when you missed school. If that is the entire story, there shouldn't be any reason admin wouldn't immediately fix it.

Umm she's an AP grader which was their reasoning....and you'd have to meet my admin to understand. Why would I hide something?! That would just be dumb on my part.

alright alright calm down. I wasn't accusing you of anything.

I hear you about admin being retarded. it's true, they usually are people who couldn't go get Masters degrees so they decided to run a school with their power hungry selves.

if the dept of education says they can't do anything b/c she's an AP grader, that's a big 'ol load of ********.

btw, what state is this in? It'd be interesting to see it on the news to make the administration do something.

sorry I had to get that out of my system.
the texas board of education has been absolutely crappy ever since Bush was governor. Love the man, but he is slightly retarded.

I feel pity on your soul to say the least. oh well, apply to the texas tech program and hope you get in since it's all in-staters!!

The TX board of edu was semi-okay under Bush. It went extremely crazy the second Perry took office....then of course we've got our DeLays running around.

It's not like there aren't good schools in TX....its just the admin and bureaucracy that screws things up
