How long should the creative writing supplement be? The problem is that I have two things that I could submit that are both pretty good pieces of writing that represent myself. One is a poem in the style of E.E. Cummings, and the other is an essay that has my musings on faith. The poem seems a bit immature, and I'm really not sure how University of Chicago would take someone's "religious" views. Plus the essay is actually about 2 and 1/4 pages long. Anybody have any suggestions?

I'm sending five short poems, and the whole supplement is three pages.

The problem is that I've already got a 3 page main essay and a one page essay for Why Chicago. I don't want to give them too much. I know this is really late notice, but would somebody be willing to read both of them and see which one would be better to send. Preferably not somebody in my applicant pool, and somebody who has read E.E. Cummings.

Well, my main essay is five pages even, and I'm not exactly shying away from a supplement. ;-) Haha.

id be willing to read them both. i happen to absolutely adore ee cummings and would be interested in reading an essay on questions of faith. i was accepted ea and while i wont claim to know anything about what they want you can at least be sure im not competing with you. if you pm them to me or want me to pm you my email id be happy to read them and give you my feedback. but obviously, you want to send the one that says the most about you.
