If I look at my transcript and it says Attempted Hours:0 Passed Hours:4 Earned Hours:4 GPA hours:0 and Quality Points:0 GPA:0 does this mean I get credit for the class? It was an AP Calculus class.

Yes that’s what it means. We just noticed today on the degree audit page that my son has credit for his AP classes. Weren’t expecting those until later in July.

We have some AP credit also listed but can’t see the results on the SAT website yet, good news is he has some credit so that is a few less classes to take!

@dbcbs5 - Some students use the credits to create a lighter load each semester and/or to graduate in less than 8 semesters, but from what I have seen most use it to simply skip intro level classes and start at a higher (and usually, for them) more interesting level. It also can help with not having to worry about transferring credits when studying abroad. My D studied for 2 semesters in Beijing but not on the Tulane program. She did eventually get credit for the courses she took there, but the fact of the matter was that it really made no difference in her graduation status. She mostly just wanted to make sure they always showed up in her transcripts.
