I have found out that we can take one GE class(category 6) for credit/no credit for our college years.
I was actually going to use that for next semester because I have 19 units to take next semester and didn't want to overload myself..
However, some people were saying it is worse than getting a B and grad schools count it as C later on.
I'm an engineering student, so would it not matter or should I still take it as letter grade?
Any recommendation?

I read that credit no credit classes are basically passing with a C- and I don’t see why any school would look down on that since its only a GE and its not even for your major. Besides if you looking at USC grad school, they would understand.
