Credits Not Transferring!?

Usually schools state that "junior transfer students should have completed at least 60 units before transferring". Let's say that I have 72 semester units completed, but some of the units may be non-transferable. What if I just have like 58 transferable units, but in fact I have taken more than 70 units? Would it hold against me from getting accepted? Or do complete transfer evaluations start AFTER I'm accepted?

Not sure how you can take 72 credits and have so many not transfer. Unless they are really unsual courses, my guess is that many of them will transfer as electives if not core classes and I would not expect you to have a problem. Many universities provide either interactive or printed guides to what courses will transfer, especially if the schools are in the same state. If not, I would call admissions and ask them how you can get an evaluation. It doesn’t sound like you have done that yet.
