My registration fees are paid, but my total at the bottom shows $1,623 CR

What does this mean really? I hope that doesn't mean my fall disbursement is $1,623 because that isn't damn nearly enough to pay for housing, parking, my laptop and books.

I do believe $1623 is the remaining money for you, aside from tuition, for the quarter. If you don’t mind me asking, how much in total is your aid award? (grants + loans)

Thats weird… it shouldn’t be $1623 left over then… It should be at least $4,000 in your credits for this quarter. Only thing I suggest is call the billing office listed in the ZotAccount.

Well its possible they leave out the housing payment from the disbursement, which would be about $3000, so it kinda makes sense… still, I was kinda expecting more…

If your total aid is around $25,000, then $1623 looks about right for the Fall quarter after tuition and housing is paid. Figure that tuition and housing for the year is around $20,000 so what is left over is divided up into 3 quarters.

shenon, housing is due 10/15. And you can apply the credit for that, but its possible that if you received enough fin. aid, that it was already applied and paid for housing.

*** MAN! My credits are now gone and it now says I owe $1500 to pay off housing. Does this mean I’m gonna get disbursed absolutely nothing?! I don’t have $1500 and I still need to pay $250 for parking, $100 for a fridge, and some crazy amount for books and I have absolutely no money. My PLUS loan hasn’t even gone through yet because my endorser screwed up so they barely sent it Saturday and I doubt it will go through in time. It won’t be enough money either way! Can somebody please help me! My parents are bankrupt and have no money at all. I’m gonna kill myself if I can’t fix this SOON.

I need the parking for sure, and I need money for books.

My dad, who I love very much, is making a very hard decision to make things work: He’s selling his first and only Rolex watch. He paid $8000 for it 4 years ago, and its worth over $9000 now. We’ll be lucky to get 50% for it in today’s economy, but that’s what college is about, sacrifices. I never thought we’d have to resort to things like this.
